In General we provide the following conventional Quantity Surveying services as defined in the latest Tariff of Professional Fees of the SA Council for Quantity Surveyors from stages 1 to 6

6 Stage Process

Inception

 Including initiation meetings, etc.

Concept and Viability

Including preliminary estimates, etc.

Design Development

Including detailed estimate, etc.

Documentation and procurement

Including preparation of tender documentation, assistance with financial evaluation of tenders, etc.

Construction

Including schedules of predicted cash flows, administration of variations, financial control reports, valuation for payment certificates, etc.

Close-out

Including conclusion of the final account, etc.

Additional Services

  • Quality inspection assistance.
  • Principal agency.
  • Examination and assessment of financial and contractual merits of package and turnkey offers.
  • Replacement cost assessment of buildings for insurance purposes including regular updating.
  • Reinstatement assessments of damage caused to buildings by fire, flood or other insurable risks.
